G'Day!!!
After a while of searching, I'm starting to pull out me hair...does anyone know of a 1187-247 (Red, Reissue) WITH PU's or at least a 1687-8 (Blue, Reissue) for sale??? And has it been a common practice to add PU's to the 1187?? Can the Ovation Custom Shop do it well?

I live in Singapore now, but will be travelling to LA in August and Vegas in December - anyone suggest somewhere I might purchase either of these ellusive beasts...what's more can anyone REALLY recommend either of these as being worth all the effort & money it's taking???

I WAS gonna get a 1769-ADII Al di model, still might, but these 2 Adamases are SO pretty!!!??
Anyone?

Contact alpep@lostartvintage.com

He is an authorized adamas/ovation dealer and can order you a 1187 slothead or normalhead in your choice of colors with any electronics/pu you want. He specializes in Adamas Custom Shop guitars.

But SERIOUSLY consider the Adamas '08 Collector guitar which is absolutely KILLER and a great bargin considering all that goes into it. I think Al might even have these in stock.

Thanks Dave;
I will definitely email the contact u sent. I still really need to get my hands on one to know it'd be worth it.
Yeah the 2008 Collectors Adamas looked pretty sweet featurewise, and I saw some video review online somewhere but visually its not as 'flas' as the 1187, that is one stunning looking axe. Some would say a bit tacky with its sparkly red top, but the attention to details looks great!

But since you seem so enthusiastic about the Collector's Adamas I shall give it a serious consideration now. It does have its fine point in terms of construction, too!

thanks for the help.
Cheers

Ivon,
I own an '08 Collector; Dave is right: it is a fabulous guitar: Call Al and get one...you will not regret it.
