| I just ordered the 2778LX Standard Elite Contour. It has a deep contour with cutaway, to start with is that a deep body with a recessed area to fit you more comfortably??
Also is the 2778LX a redo of a popular origional that I may be able to do a little research on, like is there a non lx version and if so what would my key words for research be? I really can't find much information on this guitar also.
I just returned another model I had ordered because it was broke when I received it was a ssb and I thought maybe this might have a more fuller sound.
Anyway thanks for any input you can provide, I am excited to be getting this newer one, I ordered the natural color, I saw another one from a picture on here I thought it looked great, hopefully is sounds and plays just as well.
Thanks for input you can provide to help me figure out what I just purchased and if it is a keeper or not. |

Location: Upper Left USA | The first "2" designates the Contour Bowl, which is neither Deep, Mid or anything else except a Contour bowl. The Marketeers will use various terms because the Contour Bowl fits in a Mid case but provides a Deep sound.
The newer bowls are also made out of a modified "Lyrachord" which adds some poly/glass spheres to the mix making it one third lighter and more reflective soundwise.
You will enjoy your new guitar a lot! |

Kinda like putting Breadcrumbs in a Meatloaf to stretch it, huh? |

OMA, more like taking egg whites and sugar and whipping it into an "Angel Food" cake.
Same technology used in making lighter, faster aircraft. |
