Maybe it's black. I can check. 4) battery holder is on the inside of the guitar. 5) yes I will ship it to the UK, but you have to pay the shipping costs

I can definately see why you are tempted. I'll bet this beauty sounds as good as it looks. Kick the tires and light the fires! George

I had this, like, vision that I had sniped a #1624 Country Artist in the last 42 seconds, and then put my vintage Classic up for adoption to provide effective "harem management"...and then - hey, wait a minute... That was reality and not just some telepathic osmosis! The major difference is: This Black Beauty of a Classic is more than just showroom quality - it's, like the whole dealership, man! :D Somebody file the adoption papers on this one (quick!)- I hit my quota for the week. One of you OFC'rs deserve a "work of O'" like this...I know my playing style and quality exponentiated significantly once my #FD-14 came into my life!!! Congradulations, Dave, on another fine acquisition, and best wishes in your efforts to find a new home (c'mon guys - get after it...) Peace, Love & High-Tension Strings...

Dave: "You've been acting strangely lately. I need to do this." Pal 1713: "Dave. Don't do it Dave." "Dave." "Dave." "Da-isy, da-a-a-z-e-e-e-e..." So I ask you; Is Man in control of his Tools or are the Tools in control of Man?

They don't show in the photos and are very difficult to see with your eyes from more than 12 inches away. Photos with flash show it (see link). 1) There is a very slight lacquer crack right along the top edge of the fretboard where it lays against the body. It almost looks like just a reflection of the fretboard edge, but in fact it is a faint crack in the lacquer. 2) There is a fine slip about 1/2 in long at the very end of the fretboard. it's smaller than a human hair, but with just the right light you can see it. Click here for photos These are very slight cosmetic flaws but I wanted to make them known. Because of this I will lower the Buy It Now price (or the final bid amount if reserve is met) by $50. As always let me know if you have questions.
