Joined: June 2008 Posts: 1 Location: Lansing, Michigan | Greetings, all. I typically don't announce my new membership on web forums, but I truly love my Ovation. It's a 1985 Adamas 1687-9 in the reverse gold(?) burst finish, and was purchased on 6/18/85 by my grandfather in New Hampsire. Anyway, I have been poking around a bit and have read a little about what the "-9" on the model number signifies. Can someone clarify that for me so I know for sure? I uploaded some photos using the photo album utility on this site, and I'm curious as to anything anyone can tell me about this guitar. I'd be glad to learn as much about it as possible. Cheers, ~Brent

I've a 94 1581-9 Adamas 11 All you ever need to know about Ovation guitars is available from the members here. AJ
