I cannot find serial number

Man..... I cannot find the serial number on my Elite 1868. I've had this axe for 15 years and never looked for it until now.

Isn't it supposed to be imprinted on the back of the headstock?

anyone know something I don't?

That would make it a '93 or so? I don't know where they put the #'s then, but I have a couple of O's with ser.#'s on a little sticker inside the bowl.

As usual, I am someone who isn't sure of the answer but feels compelled to post an answer anyway.

Try looking inside the bowl.

Inside the bowl up by the neck. You have to look at an angle through the epaulets. I had a Celebrity Deluxe that didn't have a serial number, so they can be removed.

Thanks and yes I found the sticker or marking with the serial number....... its a 1991

Thank you much for the help. For some reason it means alot to me to know the things.

It is indeed a great guitar.....

I also own and play a Gibson JC-185 EC
A fender Strat Plus that has been modified
an original 1965 Vox amp
and a Fender Hot Rod deville
