Given that there seems to be about a 50% uptick in Europe for similar items, I'd say that it's a fair deal if it is in primo shape. It comes down to whether you feel the juju of the guitar. Play it and if you connect with it, you'll be very happy.

Used ones typically run $500 - $800, depending on color and condition. One slips under the radar for less on occasion.

I waited for it to clear roundback's high bid ( ;) ) and then I went for it. If it's anything like the Viper bass I have, I'm totally stoked. Just need to decide if I want to keep it stock ... or hot rod it like Al's. :)

You got a great deal, and I am glad that it stayed in the OFC family if my bid didn't hold (which I didn't think would win).

What is this? Another bottom feeder outed on OFC? I thought there were only a couple of us! Welcome, brother! :) Just kidding you, Paul...I know you're a standup guy. Stonebobo...NICE!

Even though I was one of the first to register for the OFC, I was only an occasional lurker for a long time. Tony C finally contacted me via eBay just to find out who I was, and that led to my becoming a regular on the board. But I don't use 'roundback' as my OFC user name. Quasimodo envy might result.

I am getting better at recognizing y'all. Made two low purchases yesterday - one on Ebay and one via an ebay aquiantance! GAS has subsided only to be replaced with Phantom UPS Truck sounds. One Viper and one Breadwinner.
