Great guitar. I too love the way Ovation does Sunburst.

I'll bet it sounds better than it looks. those 12 fret slothead 12 strings are a cannon.

I did get a CB-4 but it doesn't have the 'open soul' that yours has. I'm on the lookout for one like I sent you!

There's several tricks involved:

First, the ding only had a couple of very small 'light' spots. Several judicious applications of a black felt tip eliminated the 'highlights'

Now here's something I discovered with a different git. Once I clean with a slightly damp rag and then dry, I hand apply lemon oil to the top and hand rub with pressure. I then immediately buff with a mico-fiber cloth. The oil does an outstanding job on removing smudges and beer splatter. What a deep luster! :eek: Plus this also insures the the bridge base edges gets oil. I then use Dunlop 65 as a final step.

The third 'trick' was the angle of the pic. I actually shot that angle to see if I could discern the 'dimple', noper.

The fretboard is actually a deep black but the fill flash angle lighten its appearance (I'm not Damon ).

This is what I sent Kevin when I received the GC; "I never thought the name ‘Glenn’ could take my breath away, but man, you did it!" It is really a stunning guitar!
