I am not sure if that adds up to $500 or not that the guitar might sell for, but you never know. peace mike

Put it up for auction on a 7 day but have a researve of what you want for it. See how it does. It's the only way to know for certain. I was actually being serious when I asked what you want for it. It's something you'll have to decide. A very personal decision.

As for fair market value, the tea leaves are still swirling on that one. They were originally about $1K, but you'd never get that today. Shoot, if it plays well, *that's* what counts.

Currently there is a 1983 collectors edition on ebay for $595 and it has not gotten any bids. Not sure if this helps, but putting it on ebay with a reserve that you think is acceptable is( I think) a good suggestion. peace mike

Neagle - The thing to do is put it up on a 6 day auction, start at $1 but put your reserve where you are comfortable (say $500). When bidders settle on a dollar figure you will know where you stand.
