I just bought a Collectors 2001 figured redwood Ovation. Always wanted an "O" and I believe I did well in this choice, nice tone! I have seen the questioned posed before as to how many were made in the round sound hole version ( this is the one I have)? In the meantime I'll just be sitting here playing my "O".

my only word of caution is to detune the guitar when it is not in use and make sure you use a sound hole dumidifier.

otherwise I have been on record as saying it is one of my favorite sounding ovations.

Already have it tuned down whole step, going to buy a humidifier today. Any suggestions?

Move to South Texas. You won't have to use a humidifier!
