Location: Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey | Unfortunately, yesterday's deal fell through, and the guitar is still available. Beautiful guitar achin' for a new home in the OFC family! Somebody grab her quick!
Description from my last post:
Listing here once more before going to ebay: my Adamas SMT 1598 12 string serial #533814 in EXCELLENT condition...more or less mint. Natural Gray color, mid bowl, optima pre amp with tuner, notch & eq. Possibly some minor pick marks, but when I checked this morning I really couldn't see any. She's gorgeous!
This guitar has been my backup guitar, and it gets next to NO play, literally. The new strings I put on 2 months ago probably have less than 5 minutes of play on them-that's how little I play it. My main workhorse is my Adamas SMT MEII1598 12 string, which is pretty much the same sounding guitar, and I just don't need 2 so similar. It sounds and plays beautifully, rich highs, deep lows...crystal, immaculate sound.
The nut was replaced within the last year by my Authorized Ovation Repair shop. Still have the old nut in the case.
$975 plus shipping, includes OHS case. I will try to get some pix of it this weekend. Don't miss out! My reserve on ebay will be higher.

I'd be on this one if I didn't just buy the u681t. Good luck. |

As I've mentioned before, the new MEII 1598 is an updated version of the original ME model, and IMHO is an entirely different sounding guitar. It has some of the LX features and one epalette. It is my favorite sounding and playing of all the O's I've owned.
It is extremely similar to my SMT 1598, but still rivals it. Both are great guitars, and personally I think they both rival the original ME 12 string model.
I just don't need 2 guitars that sound so similar and am looking to get another model. Which one, I don't know yet. |
