Joined: November 2004 Posts: 1374 | 1973 wurlitzer 200 electric piano. fair to good condition. have sustain pedal, and 3/4 legs(one leg and bracket missing),no music rack. keyboard fires up fine, amp and tremolo section work fine, speakers in good condition. all keys operate and produce sound, no cig burns or broken keys, some keys are sticky but do reset and level, seems to be in fairly good tune. playable as is but am told that the action and keys will have to be "eased" am told this is done with a tool called easing pliers which compress the dampers and pads in the action to loosen it up. This is the same type of electric piano used by Ray C. for much of his career. will trade for deep-bowl or mid bowl non-cutaway Ovation or Elite (6 or 12 ok) would prefer a/e model tho. every one of these that have hit e-bay in the last 90 days(except stupid reserves) has sold anywhere from 300 to 1700 dollars (Alpep just sold one as well)depending on condition. shipping due to size and weight will be around 100 dollars for the continental US. I'll have pictures up in a few minutes. I really miss my 1758 :( , anyone want a nice piano for restoration? definitely not junk but will need some love and skills which I do not have. original power cord is missing as well but am using a modified computer cord to test and demonstrate. I do have maintenance and repair manuals and documentation in pdf format files. can also send vids or sound bytes of operation if interested. ![]() ![]() other photos in members section under Glenn Hess/wurly all trades and reasonable cash offers considered. am also interested in getting my first Ovation Electric, anyone willing to thin their herd of preachers, deacons, vipers,bw's,UKll's, or storm series as a trade please let me know. Thanks Guys, God Bless, Glenn I really, really miss my 1758 so another nice 12-string would definitely seal the deal :D

Joined: November 2004 Posts: 1374 | Hi Al, left shipping/insurance/duties,taxes up to buyer for overseas. also think I disclaimed well on continental US. did I miss something? gonna vacuum foam pack everything 2 legs under base and one over keyboard in separate layers, and secure all reeds. how far did you ship yours? not going to allow any phoney-baloney on Declarations so... if anything get's hinky... no dice. keep me in mind for anything at 2/3 of closing price if it does well. if nothing available around there will get one of the vipers, deacons or preachers from Stephen if any still available. any tips? or too late? thanks, Glenn

Joined: November 2004 Posts: 1374 | well the same guy bidding on mine is bidding on another closing in 3 days.... hope he's collecting, or restoring(hopefully needs the other for parts to get a solid unit) tho mine really only needs a leg and minimal maintenance, but then the most expensive purchase he's made recently has been 1/3 of his offer on mine, here's hoping and c'mon w/some other bidders.... did have an offer of a 56 reissue lp goldtop(epi) as a trade anyone play one of these? or have too many solid body vintage CT instruments? ... ;) so on it goes... Still 7+ days to go on mine and starting to get non US nibbles... CA and NL so far. c'mon.... daddy(always) needs another "O"!!! :D wish me luck, God Bless, Glenn

Joined: November 2004 Posts: 1374 | well 15+ hours left to go. looks like it's gonna close right about where it should... 3 of the bidders are UK/France/CA and have been made aware of shipping costs..added 30 pounds for international packing plus 20" ea to the length width and depth.. if the french or uk win will be about 5/600 to ship not counting declarations, taxes, duties etc... so basically shipping will approximately equal purchase price at close... and then probably a little more... Let's see if this comes off well and if it does.. AL, I know I'm bottom feeding with what I'll make off of this but if you have anything nice in the $400 dollar range (Ovation of course mid or deep) Would love to give you the business.. give me a shout.. :D Thanks and continue with the well wishes in the bidding.. God Bless, Glenn

Joined: November 2004 Posts: 1374 | All Right!!! closed for $535 plus shipping, packing, taxes, docs, duties and declarations. winning buyer has good feedback and deals in vintage musical electronics so should go pretty smoothly. Thanks to all for the well wishes. OK guys I'm not just window shopping now... looking for something nice in the $450 range... either solid body or mid/deep bowl vintage. AL?, Stephen?,, others? anyone willing to give up a 1758 for around that? Selling mine has been a regret ever since it went on e-bay.(never thought it would close as low as it did)and was the nicest 12 I have ever played or owned. Tony I should've listened to you. But I do thank you sincerely for your offer. You have been a great friend and support through some rough times lately. Anyway.... I'm gonna buy another Ovation.. Guys/Gals let me know what's available please. God Bless, Glenn
