I can sometimes take church/worship for granted, because I've never known what it's like to not be a part of the Church. I even married a music minister, who's mother is our church organist, and have played handbells and trumpet in church for 28 years. I've just thought of the guitar as more of a universal instument wheras the handbells and organ are firmly planted in santuararies. are there riots often. My daughter has to ride with her mother when the guitar travels.

GL1200 Goldwing :D Problem was, I could never get the helmet and intercom to stay on so we could chat. Always was a one sided conversation anyway. As for unusual transport, it also has many hours of logged time in both my old Cessna 150, then my Cessna Cardinal (177).

The FD14 is a better sounding and playing guitar and the 1719-CM is right up there also. The new U681t might also find it's place in the clouds. However, you will not find a better playing or sounding guitar than your 1537 for under $2000 and even that might be up for debate. At the price you paid, it should never leave your family....pass it on to the kids...but never sell it!

My daughter, who tried out the 1537 for me in Moscow is the same age as the guitar. Maybe if I had told her that, she would have tried harder to get it. The guy didn't think he could sell it outright once it was on ebay. I seem to see it done a lot.

I just picked up an 82 GL1100 2 months ago, wanted to get back into riding after a 30 year hiatus. Of course, that was in Feb when the weather was beautiful. Been raining ever since... About 15 of the men at our church ride, we're thinking about starting our own club.

Palmac has the original catalog on his website showing all three... 1547 ...IF I'm not mistaken Stephen, Bite me.... And it won't be the last time either...

It was made for one year I think. it can be checked in price list in reference section also. And to let the cat out of the bag.... I really really wonder where the 1337's are. that would be the acoustic only version...made for one year....
