Hello,
I need a new gold ended tone knob for my UK 2, and was wondering if anyone out there has one to sell? i tried Ovation but all they have left are the silver one's, any help in finding one would be appreciated.

Hi Pete

I had the same problem and the same answer from Ovation, but I found quite a nice solution. I used a stick for pickling (I hope, my english is clear...) and colored the top of the knobs. They look perfect in a kind of gold-color and the writing on the knobs is 100% visible! Just an idea....
Greetings from Zurich in switzerland

Hi Dieter

yeah, that looks like the way to go, as it seems they are as rare as proverbial rocking horse s*** ! i've just got to find a way of removing the blob of glue where the gold insert fell off without damaging the lettering, oh well it gives me something to do i suppose!!
