Had my fat short arm buried in the sound hole of my 1717 Legend replacing the output jack. Stretching and straining to get the new jack to the hole at the bottom of the bowl, I heard a terrifying wooden sounding "POP". Oh sh#@, I closed my eyes and slowly pulled my arm out, afraid to look. When I did look I couldn't see anything cracked or broken, so I started checking braces and stuff inside. Still nothing, but I knew it was wood I heard crack ! Turned out to be that my fat forearm popped the rossette from the soundboard as I struggled to get the jack to its hole. A little glue and all's well. Whew !! Next time I'll wait for my girlfriend with the skinny arms to help !

Nothing worse than holding a guitar and having it make a sound it wasn't intended to make. Kind of like when I play.....

Manhole covers would be a little bit heavy on the back of an O, plus it would take a very heavy duty strap to hold it up when you play standing up. Can't figure out how to hold a manhole cover in my lap with my O.

Yea,I wasn't thinking. I use that technique when fishing cables and wires when I'm working on my motorcycles. Shudda applied that technology here. (Dummy!)

Monofiliment fishing line has been my friend for a long time... Especially with the 335 bodies!
