Got a call from Brian @ Sweetwater early this afternoon. They all arrived this morning. They'll all be taken out, set up, re-boxed and shipped out probably tomorrow.

Brian asked me to put the word out since this batch was delayed and everyone seemed nervous (incl. the people at Sweetwater).

Personally it didn't make me nervous. I can't imagine what kind of organized chaos is going on at the factory in this season of unprecedented change. I'm grateful for the oportunity to get my hands on this guitar.

Great news!

You've expressed my sentiments to a 'T'; a 'Sweet T' at that! :D

Just curious...

Do most music stores think thier guys can improve on a set-up fresh from the "O" factory?

What do they consider a set-up?

A good dealer might adjust something or they might not.
But it's impressive when they check each one out before moving them on.

It is always hard to wait for a new guitar to arrive.

I hope a tornado doesn't suck it up and drop it in Moodys backyard, (He's a Taylor man now). :D

I hope Moody doesn't desert us...
There is still hope that he can be rehabilitated!

If not... We can still all pick on him!

Speaking of Moody has anyone checked Cliff's trunk yet. Leave a body in there to long it smells. By the way they found a week old body in a hospital parking lot today, not going there for a check up.

"week old body"

is that the body of someone a week old or the body of someone who's been dead a week or was it just a weak, old body?

Well folks, I tried my best at an intervention. I saw Moody tonight, and had my JL3 with me. We went to a Guitar Center, which had a terrific selection of Ovations. Custom Elite, contour bowls, mid bowls, LX Elites, Legends and Balladeers, Ultras, 12 stringers, Celebrities ... the whole shooting match. I've never seen a better selection of Ovations at any Guitar Center, anywhere. Yet he went through the main room with all the O's, and into the back room with the Taylors. I kid you not.

This picture is less than two hours old.

Does this look like a tormented man, or what? And take special notice - NO ALOHA SHIRT!

Worse, his favorite guitar in the whole damn place was a Martin ... he said, and I quote "If I was going to buy any guitar in this store tonight, it would be this Martin". It was a GC-MMV Spruce/Rosewood dread (very, very nice for $1500 I might add).

I got him out of that room and back into the main room with the Ovations, where he thought the Epiphone Masterbuilt was a fantastic guitar. But then he started talking to friendly Simon, a very knowledgable and nice sales guy, and before I knew it they were spec'ing out a custom Breedlove. They even talked about a trip to Bend, OR where they build them!

I swear every word I write here is the truth.

Ay Caramba!

This calls for the full 12 step intervention thing. Grab Moody lock him in a room with an Adamas, food & water. Leave him there for 14 days until he detoxes. Make sure there is no exposed wood in the room for him to suck on.

What do we expect...he's from Orange County...hydrocarbons & fast food on every corner.

This is incidious, gradually damaging the frontal and pre-frontal lobes. Soon, little analytical or logic, leaving only social interface left.

Result, nice guy drooling onto the wood top of a bland T, more concerned with the logo than the playability, desperately wanting to convince all that they could also join the cult.

Again, this is Orange County...

Moody,
You forgot that if IT last for more than 4 hours you MUST seek medical attention right away. :)

Coincidentally, the only two times that I have been in a GC, they tried to sell me a Breedlove. Both Times!
