I am trying to find out the year my Ovation Legend 1867 was made. I believe it is a 90's model but has a few different features from current model. Mine has plain faced headstock,
walnut bridge, chrome tuners, and the OP-X preamp.
Serial Number: SN495524, made in New Hartford, CT.
It has super shallow bowl, cutaway & Cherry, Cherryburst finish. It is beautiful and plays like a dream.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me with dating it. Thank you.
Happy Holidays!

Well, if I was smart I should have checked out "Reference" on main page and that would have led me to find out myself that my Legend is from 1995. Sorry if I wasted anyones time.

John, if you worry about making dumb mistakes on this board, hell, if we all worried about that, we'd never post..... especially Clifford & Witko.

Merry Christmas back atcha!

Yep. That's pretty much a requirement on this board, John. Merry Christmas.

We're well into the carbon dating stage.
