Anyone interested in a beautiful Red Flame Ovation? This is the one that has flames all the way around, LX, OP Pro, and is in MINT PERFECT condition with original case. This is the coolest guitar I have ever played but I just don't play it enough to keep it. Hell, I don't even know what to ask for it. See it in my photo gallery (Ovation herd)and make me a offer.

Thanks Paulcc1. It is a fantastic guitar as far as looks, feel, and sound go. I originally bought it to get my son interested (bling factor with the flames) but he just isn't into playing. This guitar probibly only has 10 or so hours of playing time on it. It ought to be on stage somewhere!

stonebobbo-Yea that's the way it always works for me too! I've also got a Glen Campbell signature 12 string model 1118-4 that I am going to put up for sale to someone that will play it once in a while. I bought it from one of our members a year or so ago and have maybe played it for an hour or 2 since then!

Hey AFGQ Good luck onthe sale of your 1778T-RF. Man, The Glen Campbell 12 String. I always regretted that I didn't keep that guitar. It was my First Ovation. I don't kmow if I'll ever be in a financcial situation to replace her but oh how I loved that guitar.Let us know for sure when your putting that one up for sale.

You guys have guitar budgets? I belong to the group that buys it and then tries to hide it from the wife until she's in a good mood. Unfortunately, that's usually after she spends a bunch of money.
Actually, I get a monthly allowance to spend on whatever I want--$20. I keep forgetting to get the next $20 if I haven't spent the last one.

AFG,

I picked up my RF new in October for $1700 with case. What are you thoughts on the one piece neck? I use to have a Kramer electric and the feel of this neck is very similar to that I think. It's very full and quite different from the trianglar shape of the five piece neck on my Adamas.
Not better, not worse, just different imho.

I love the neck. In fact I love the whole guitar. It plays fantastic and the looks... Well the look speaks for itself. This guitar would look great under the lights on a stage somewhere. I'm in no real hurry to sell this one or 2 of my other 6 Ovations that I will list after the first of the year. I will be selling this 1778RT, 12 string Glen Campbell 1118-4, and an older Balladeer (one of the few made in Korea for those 6 months or so).
Happy Holidays to all my friends on the OFC!
