Location: Yorkshire, England | Here's an interesting fact - (now you know I'm a Trekkie!) While on the subject of William Shatner, we had a hit over here in the UK
in the early 70's,('72 I think) by a guy called Les Crane. He spoke the Desiderata -
(Go placidly amidst the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence...) over a background of etherial type music.
Don't know if it was a hit for you guys over there in the U.S at the time, but, ( and here's the interesting fact) It was originally going to be recorded by Leonard Nimoy and be called Spock's Thoughts. Not a lot of people know that |

There's no telling what other "untapped talent" could have come from The Trek! |

How many strings did the instrument that Spock played with the "beatnik-hitch-hikers" have?
Was Frank Gershin's(sp) character "half-white" or "half-black"?
What musical instrument did Jon-Luke find in the sattelite that had him experience a now gone race?
What instrument did Data play?
And for Flag Day - what was the contaminate that "Hugh" brought back and infected the Borg with? |
