I'd have them do a complete once over as well while they were at it. Without the possibility of a tour (even a short one) I'm not sure it is worth the detour. Blues

I had a friend's 30 yr old Baladeer with me to see if they'd do some work on it. We didn't call ahead to find out any details. We stayed in a terrible motel in New Hartford the night before, then simply showed up early in the morning. Having only a street address, and never having been there before, it was VERY exciting to drive up the road and see the building for the first time. Same one I'd seen in the catalogs (remember those?) We arrived in the parking lot in time to find Kim Keller just walking to the door to go to work...his long hair still wet. He gave us a warm welcome, and he and John considered my friend's guitar. I asked if there was a tour available. He said "Well...we don't really do tours...but", and he proceeded to take us on a half-hour tour of the place. He was very excited about the new CNC neck carving machine..the only pc of CNC equipment at the time. "One million dollars, but look how quickly we make necks now!" Our tour took in most of the work areas that we've seen in the recent tours. So just GO. No matter what happens, you'll have a very memorable visit! John <>{
