How come I've not read complaints that with Ovations always plugging in, there isn't enough room in the case for the cord and strap and extra strings and tuner and of course the G7 cappo?

In my case, it's because I've always considered it a very minor inconvenience and, beyond that, few other cases that I've seen have much more room. I guess I've always just figured the case was never meant to replace a small gear bag.

With both the standard and mini knob sizes of course. Now where crankin'!

I love the Straplocs but have to remove the strap when I case my guitars. I can get away with unhooking the top end on the LX but the others need to be clean.

The Gig bag can get a little stuffed from time to time as well!

I had a nice little cord I used to carry in the case when I travelled, but I gave it to my daughter, in her Ovation case. Also gave her a tuner, picks, capo, all in the compartment. The strap didn't fit in there with all that stuff, but fit nicely under the headstock at the top of the neck. For a kid who has trouble meeting the airline luggage weight limits, the Ovation case was just the right size.
You think we're a bunch of whiners here, Bill?

I always have a bunch of cases I am carrying. Little black brief case with my poems in...... And my Ovations with the cutaway have enough room to roll the strap up tight and tuck it in the cutaway spot. My Cords & capo and tuner fit in the hatch and there is more room for more cords rolled up just under the headstock.

I didn't know they were supposed to plug in. Is that why Al has all those 'export only' models? They run on different voltage you think?

Funny how I somehow managed to keep a strap, 10-feet cord, capo and numerous picks in the small compartment of the case, located between the guitar's body and headstock.

Most folk who own Ovations don't need to haul around a seperate tuner.

I thought that was what the deep bowl was for? I keep all my gear and a picnic basket inside my Legend. Just need to loosen a couple strings is all.

Well, that answers it then. I guess the real why is that this is posted in the for sale rather than the other but that's too complicated a question.
