I have been checking ebay for the past 3 weeks.. and not a single UKII. Are there any other places I can look. Would a local dealer be able to hunt one down for me? I live in Fairbanks, Alaska, so I'm pretty sure no dealers here actually have any for sale. Do dealers usually have contacts elsewhere?

Check www.gBase.com also. They usually have a few, but I just checked and they don't seem to have any there either at the moment. :(

I would give my flesh to have a ukII. Especially if it were mahognay red with abalone inlays, or black with gold hardware and bow ties. I feel that of the 2000-3000 or how many ever floating around out there... there has to be at least ONE for me... right?

How much do they usually sell for these days?

Watch ebay. I see one or two a month there and for reasonable prices too.

There's one on ebay now. I had the only bid for awhile. It was at $230 last I checked.

Louie: Echoing Boise Mark, check eBay for Ovation electric. The UKii models are often listed by sellers who don't know what they're selling. Some are pretty butchered up, but a few are real beauties.
