The Mixing Engineer's Handbook, free (+ $5 shipping) to a good home.

Mixing Engineer\'s Handbook

This is a great book for those of you playing around in the home studio. I just purchased the updated 2nd edition so I no longer need this version.

Evidently you do. A Martini consists of a good dry French Vermouth such as Noilly Pratt, and an equally good Gin (nothing surpasses Tanqueray) 3 parts Gin to 1 part Vermouth. The only other permitted ingredients are ice and maybe an olive or onion. Anything else is a GAY Martini. That's the law.

It's that kind of ElitistFop thinking that bred the theory that all guitars must have square backs . . .

. . .anything else must be a GAY guitar.

y'know what they say about "Laws" . . .

(btw: I simply adore a good Tanqtini as well . . .
. . . I just have that recipe on the back of my card 'cuz it's easier t'hand over than to shout it out over the bar din)

In my book a Martini is made with 2oz of Vodka in a martini glass. Pass an UNOPENED bottle of vermouth over the top of the glass three times. Drop in an olive. Drink.

As for the mixing book.. it's a good book. A lot of good basics that so many people overlook.

Hey, is this still for 'sale'? I'm into recording ( actually plan on making a living out of it) and it couldn't hurt for me to pick it up.

EXCELLENT!

I was just wondering today if everything had shown up or not. I also discovered that my burner was going south so if anything doesn't work let me know and I will shoot you out a new copy.....just popped the new unit in last night.
