Looking for a gift for a close relative. A nice 28-32 year old 1112-4 or similar would be a great gift for this guy. I stress the word nice.
Thanks.

There are some very nice 1111, 1112, 1117 and 1119 on ebay, along with their 16xx cousins. Dave

I looked at a few on EBay and the only one I liked turned out to have a few more cosmetic imperfections than I was wanting. I watch eBay religiously. I posted here to see if someone had one tucked away that they were interested in selling.

I have a 1112-4 (S/N 012506) "tucked away" that I would be willing to part with. It is in perfect condition both cosmetically and structurally. All original, including the hard shell case. Send me your email address and phone # if you would like to talk. - John

Folks -

I have a 1974 Custom Balladeer (model 1112 S/N 024765) that I have owned since 1975, and the original hardshell case. The only changes from factory are:

1986 - Martin thinline pickup installed under the bridge. The jack is in the tail pin.

1994 - Sent to Ovation for a new top.

The guitar is in excellent playing condition, as well as cosmetic. The only defects I can find is one small chip/ding on the back of the headstock, and another on the heel of the neck. They are both cosmetic and very minor. Pictures available on request.

If anyone is interested, please shoot me an email.

I realize it is now 3 years later, but are you still looking for a nice 1112? If so, let me know, I have one that I have replaced with a 1617 model.
