I'm looking for 6 (actually 8) Chrome or Gold Slot-Head Tuning Machines in new or like new condition... (I already have 12, old, worn out ones, from a 20 year old neck !!!)

I could buy them outright (Al P.) or trade.. (I have 6 new Flathead Ovation Tuners, from a 6 string.

I also have 12 mini's on my 6751, that is 3 years old, (but the tuners look new),

My 6751, 12 string, will be converted to an 8 string slothead, after I have acquired the 8 Slot Head Tuners...

Huh? You're losing 4 strings? What, a mandolin on steroids? Or jumbo baritone uke?
You're going to replace the peghead, or slot the present one? This is very interesting......

Slot the present one...

Slipkid has heard me play and seen the tuning I have engineered, @ the mothership gathering circa 2005

I only use 8 strings

They are not octaves they are the same string doubled up

It is tuned like a banjo

Just to keep it interesting it is tuned in C Tuning...
