Location: Rocky River, Ohio | I could be wrong as I am not very experienced in Ebay compared to many of the experts on this board.
I want to turn your attention to 3 links.
The 1st is a current listing and the other 2 are completed auctions.

As you can see, the guitar looks to be the same model. If you look at the bidding done on the completed auctions, it looks like there might have been some shrill bidding as there was positive feedback left for buyer and seller, then the guitar was relisted immediately.
Then on the 2nd listing, it ends again with 5 total bids, but 3 of them seem to be shrills as that user has a very similar user name, with identical history times and location in the united states.
Then, it seems like the same guitar is listed again for a BIN of 595 with a different user name that has a much better history.
I'm not sure what's going on, it may be legit, but I wanted anyone browsing ebay to be aware as it seems that this guitar has been listed 3 separate times in the last 5 days.
Any thoughts?

| Someone is trying to establish a current going price making it seem, as though if you want to buy one of these, that you will have to pay this amount. Notify Ebay about this there is a form somewhere in the site map area?? They are good at investigating this and will check to see if the new bidder only seems to bid on a certain sellers auctions. If so; they will suspend the seller and the bidder or eliminate them completely.

Beware that there has been some instances of account hijacking too, accounting for fake auctions.
Try to always use PayPal, never pay with money order or check. Someone who doesn't accept PayPal is sometimes a clue to a bad auction, although everybody who doesn't accept PayPal is not trying to commit fraud. Try to use a credit card even with PayPal. And my most important eBay rule...never bid more than you're willing to pay. There's always another auction! |
