I got my '79 Pacemaker last year, and I got a TKL/Ovation ultra-lite case for it off ebay.

So I have the OHSC which is not in terrible shape. It has a common glitch for these older cases: the aluminum rim seems to be warped, so you have to fasten the 2 center latches and then struggle a little to fasten the end ones. but they all work and it's still good protection. I've found that not many cases fit these 12 fret slothead 12 strings.

If you have an interest, I just want what UPS will cost (maybe $20). Let me know. John <>{

I'll take it, if it has enough room for the 2 knobs of a 1537. The guy down the hall needs a case for his 1537. I think the old cases will fit. I'll check the case for my 77 Folklore tonight and let you know. I assume it's the same case.

Didn't notice there were two listings. Looks like Mark has "first dibs".

Unless they moved the dent from the top of the shoulder down to the waist between 77 and 79, this one won't fit my friend's 1537, so have at it seesquare.

Mark, thanks for checking out the situation. I'm restoring a foil-label 1615-1, and can use a case for it. Untwisted the neck- now there's a good trick! Have replaced the brittle pearloid buttons with half-mini's, and half-standard-size, so I can easily differentiate the octave strings when tuning. Jason & John Budny have been instrumental in the supply area. I may attempt a bowl-bend, too. Single-knob, on-the-shoulder preamp still works fine. Had to do serious repair on the severed head, though. Frets are in good shape. Raised the top a bit, and reglued a few braces.
I'll post some images pretty soon.
