I recently started playing in church again and was looking for something that would sound nice and is easy to play. The discussions in the other threads make the '84 sound like a good choice. I played a Celebrity yesterday and it sounded pretty good. I'm playing through an amp. Pricewise it seems like it might be a little high. |

Location: Shotley Bridge, Northern England | This is in good shape, but pricy. To help you here, Stuart and I have snagged the last 2 of these on eBay in the last month; I paid $510 for mine (2 small dings; had a BIN for $500 originally - never mind), and Stuart got an outstanding deal for $471 (no PayPal for that seller, but he got the Optima pre-amp fitted; great deal!). I would advise you watch and wait; I now have my 84 Collectors; they are WELL worth the hassle of tracking and stalking, but you needn't necessarily pay over the odds.
Good luck
