Hear it on track 14 of the new OFC CD,recorded direct, no mics
Recent full setup,neck adjustment and fret dress
Incredible unplugged acoustic sound
Stays in tune
A perfect guitar unplugged in the living room or amplified directly in to a PA or amp in any type of performance situation, from church to coffee houses to large outdoor venues
Light balance neck and easy to play

Location: SoCal | Guys and Gals...I have played this and it is a great 12-string. Frankly, if I didn't have ten Ovation and Adamas, I would have bought this already. Of course, the Adoption Agency (AA) may still be a factor. Sorry, the AA can't let it go for less than it is worth. Very rare to find a guitar like this that has a shallow bowl and an XLR. Frankly, I like this guitar's sound holes and modern design better than the new design on the 2080 6-string.
Dan said "best offer". I told him to post it at $1,800. At a minimum, $1,650. IMHO, as new.
Noah was the prior owner and you know how well he takes care of his guitars. |

Location: Los Angeles | The Q598 comes with a mid-bowl. If this guitar had a shallow bowl I would not be letting it go. A shallow bowl has always felt more comfortable to me due my ever expanding midsection. I would like to see Ovation come out with a contour shallow bowl for the abdominally challenged. |

Now Cliff, if you were selling your Adamas(well maybe that's not a good example),do you think I would post my opinion on how much I DON'T like how ugly that color of blue or the broccoli headstock is to me. We might be talking apples and oranges(ok I know we are), but they both say Adamas on the label. I'll guess I can to take you off the short list of potential buyers. :p |

Location: SoCal | You know, I don't like the look of it either, but there are a ton of people here who will like it. Nobody needs to fluff a guitar to get it sold here.... I doubt that you'll have any trouble selling it regardless of Clifford and my likes and dislikes (yeah, I'm probably off the short list too ---- I had problems with the U681 and my observations have never hurt sales of that guitar) |

Location: SoCal | Well, let's put it in persective...both Paul and I have the Adamas I 12-str; I also have the Adamas II...in the pecking order of 12's...this follows closely behind the Adamas I & II.
So, serious?? If not, suggest Dan go to eBay in 24 hours. |

Location: SoCal | I'd suggest getting it to eBay with a BIN and Best Offer option. The Q598 has a uniqueness which might put it above others amongst last minute Christmas shoppers. See if you can get your best sales price on eBay now instead of waiting until everyone is looking for "after Christmas" bargains. |
