a couple of months ago, a friendly member let me know that the Guitar Center in Detroit, MI (city of Roseville) was having a clearance on the amberburst GC6756LX Legend 12 strings, among others.
Well, i happened to be in the Detroit area early this morning, so I thought I would stop by.
They had 2 of these beauties. They are marked down on clearance at 661.47. I purchased one with an 8158 case for 99.99 and they threw in a free pack of strings. So with tax, out the door was about 806 dollars for a NEW Legend 12 LX with lifetime warranty, 8158 case and strings.
They still have one. I personally played it and it is very nice. One string was missing on it. I know some people don't like this color, but I really do. I will post some pics later tonight.
The gentleman that helped me was very nice. His name is Dave Black. I talked to him on the phone before arriving, and he really went out of his way to answer questions and hold one of the guitars for me.
If you're interested in a new Legend midbowl cutaway in a rare color, give them a ring.
