Location: big island | Not being too familiar with Ovations, is this guitar on our local Craigslist apparently worth $200?

Location: Upper Left USA | $200 for a working guitar and case sounds reasonable. Expect to sell it for the same price years from now.
The reality is it is worth what you are willing to pay for it. I would be wary of "played lots"!
It's priced right in my opinion but $150 would sound better... |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I posted awhile ago about a guy at work trying to find a guitar for his wife's Christmas present at less than $200. I was trying to talk him into a Balladeer that I think Norseman had, but it was a bit over his budget. I think Norseman deleted the thread. My friend ended up getting a new Ibanez for around $150 and his wife was very happy with it.
I assume that prices are a little high on the island, but you probably could find a good Balladeer for a little more money that would be a better guitar or could find a decent starter guitar for less. I ended up trying a bunch of $200 guitars out for the guy and there were a few that had some real problems. I recall a new epiphone that seemed to need a neck reset right out of the box. |

Location: Hicksville, NY | Now that it's been mentioned, I am in the process of putting my one and only O in the market. In my attempt to upgrade to an Adamas, my wife has left me with no choice, but to part with my shallow bowl balladeer. It's only a matter of when ...
I've neither sold a guitar on-line nor shipped a guitar, so I'll appreciate any advice that you can provide. |
