This is almost identical (with a few changes) to another listing last week that was also a user with little track record from Hawaii and the listing was removed just before it was due to close.

I am always very very suspicious of new sellers with no buying experience on EBay. Sometimes they pan out. I suppose $50-60$ would be a bargain for a working OP-Pro, but I hope Tony doesnt get burned.

Current Ebay listing for OP-Pro

Previous listing for OP-Pro

If you use the Ebay/Paypal/Visa system you wil recoup if all goes wrong. It will just be a process.

I can ask the Seller for a confirmable phone and address.

I'll do what I can to save Tony too! ;)

Can you interchange an Op Pro from an Adamas with an OP 30 in a Celebrity?

I'm with Stuart on this auction. It looks very "iffy". I did not look closely at it before I posted. I just emailed the seller telling her I also lived in Hawaii and asked if I could see the unit first or perhaps pick it up directly if I won the bid. We'll see.

This is just to check the response. I am not in the market for one of these.

the seller on the first auction ends up being the same as this one. just click on the "me" after her seller's name. on the first auction she says the op-pro is coming out of an adamas and on this one it is coming out of a custom legend ovation. she responded to part of my question as you can see on the current auction page but not the entire question. something is real "fishy" fishgiven!

When it comes to Ebay there are those of us that profess expertise and those that can't tell an Adamas from an Applause. Not a lot of middle ground though.

I'm in for a little bit. It's worth over $400 if you get it from the factory.

The seller emailed me that she has both the Adamas U681T-5 that has an OP-50 and the Custom Legend that had this OP-PRO in it. She says on the first auction she mistakenly listed the unit as coming from the Adamas. She got a VIP unit for Christmas to replace the OP-PRO with according to the first auction. She has been very responsive in her emails to me. I'm not endorsing this auction but just trying to help clarify what is going on since I am the one who initially posted it here.

Oooh, I hope I'm first to answer this. and I hope YOU got it backwards, not her. The U681T came with the OP-Pro, The Custom Legend came with the OP-50. Unless she swapped it at some time, but I cannot imagine why you would. The VIP *might* be the one modeled for the the 1680, which you could use in the U681T, but to my knowledge there isn't a map for the Legend, so why wouldn't she just sell the OP-50 out of it, not the OP-Pro out of the U681T??? Weirdness prevails.
