Price is very cheap at $900.00 This one is in beautiful condition and is the deep body 1769 cutaway. The bass is a one-of and I will of course get a few good photo's to email. You can view these in my photo section.for now if your interested. The Bass is very rare and these Elites are expensive when you can find a 5 string I am asking $1,250.00 and you won't believe how loud this bass is unplugged. Thanks Randy

It is no doubt a beautiful guitar and I am still baffled why it is still around at this price. $900 for a Custom Legend with fairly new electronics and in this condition is a good price. I know I paid more for it last year. This one also had that great oiled walnut neck. Serial Number is 514373. Never checked it, not sure of it's age. Pefect case as well. If you want a high end, deep bowl, American Made, Ovation this is the flagship of the wood tops. The Bass is very special. I can't replace it if I sell it. I'd like to sell one of them. Thanks again Waskel.

I have had two; one went to New Zealand and the other to Paul Templeman (back before the days of the OFC). I have never seen a 5-string. Randy's right, I think; it will be very difficult to replace it if he sells it.

I do not have much room to work with the custom legend I am already taking a loss on it. I am baffeled by it but it is what it is. A beautiful guitar for a good price. The Bass Is more of an oddity and seeems to have more value. If anyone has a serious interest in it The sale of either one of these guitars is for the purchase of an Adamas 6 string. I prefer an Adamas 11 cutaway, if there is any interest in a trade for the bass let me know. Thanks guy's Randy

I have so much music to cover and so many diferent tunings I am now useing my Legend for twelve songs when we play. I would like to sell the Bass I guess....I hate to part with it but I need an Adamas 2 that matches my Adamas 1 in a cutaway and I will use the Legend for the few songs the Adamas's don't cover. Thanks very much indeed for the heads up but I have a specific Adamas in mind from another member. I sure hope he still has it? So anyone.........I guess it's getting closer to LETS MAKE A GREAT DEAL TIME. Anyone want this ONE-OF elite 5 string bass with a birdseye maple top?? for $1,100 ?? It does not get much better than that guy's this bass has got to sound very close in volume and tone to the Adamas versions. It is loud and it plays like butta! And you just can't find them anywhere.. Email me Randy

THere are so many 120' White Pines on my land and half of them are potentially house destryoing monsters that I hooked him up with enouhgh that he is going to take the threats away for me and because of the crazy price of building lumber he is going to give me some cash! It is January and the little Lake is not frozen yet nor is my land So I don't want him here ntil it firms up some. As soon as that happens I should be all set to buy the Adamas I am after. The Legend will come off the block and If I still decide to let the bass go I don't think I will let it go for a $ figure like $1,100 again. That is only for as long as the ground is still soft. Ya know ya just can't make this shit up. Payback for all the high lumber prices I have paid recently while building my Mom an apartment! If anyone is interested this is not a sale you'll find anywhere else. That's a fact! This is a One-Of. Randy

I will assume this is a glitch, and is fixable in the near future?? Not complaining, just realized today it is not there anymore. By the way I have rain predicted where I am for this week, but starting Monday-Tuesday of next week it is going to finally freeze and stay that way for a while I guess. So the Logging will start and these guy's are so fast I will be lucky to be able to watch any of these monsters come down. If you have any interest in this Bass for this price I'd strike now. As soon as I get my grubby hands on that Loggers check it will go back up to the 1,250.00 and perhaps of the block all together. Thanks for the interest so far guy's. Again no pressure it is what it is. And you really can't make this stuff up. Now I have to try and find whomever it was who had that Adamas 11 cutaway that was the same later #7 color as mine? I don't remember which one of you guy's was selling it now?? Not even sure it was "advertised" in here for sale?? Randy

"Antropological Climate Change Phenomenon" has kept the local tree killer from coming to my home to clean house. I have had nothing but rain and freezing rain all day. Tree's and branches are snapping all over. Supposed to freeze up for a while starting tomorrow. Until then these are still two very, very nice Ovation instruments. And well worth consideration for Ovation Fans. Randy
