I have a 68 Josh White that's looking for a new home. It is a great sounding and playing guitar, and I'll probably kick myself down the road. Wide neck, 12-fret, slothead. This thing is Loud! I've just never really bonded with the guitar; it is best used for fingerstyle which is something I don't do a lot of. There are some pictures in my gallery from when I bought it ... it's still in the same condition except for some delamination on the rosette. It's completely original; overall condition is pretty good and structurally it is excellent, but it does show some signs of being nearly 40 years old -- contact me if you want details. $975 shipped to the lower 48.

Could we be witnessing the first in the multi-step OFC Guitar Aquisition Process ???

There could be a small epidemic of this going around.

I know the Josh White model well. My favorite of all the original shiny bowls. Theses are great instruments and someone will get a real piece of history with this one.

You know you will. I'm still sore from kicking myself on a few.

It's like girlfriends. You can't keep them all. Need to stick to the ones that are easy to tune and fun to play. Dave

More like Other Guitar Acquisition Process. ;)

Yes, I see some new Ovation guitars in my future, but there are also some other ones out there I've been jonesing after for a while now. So I need to make room ... I've sort of reached my limit space wise. Problem is, after the Josh I'm not sure what else I'm willing to give up. Maybe I ought to pitch a pup tent in the yard for the boys and take over their rooms.

Good thing I was not home Wednesday, or your mind probably would have been made up already.

Nice. I'd buy a Santa Cruz in a heartbeat. The D is a little big for me. But really nice guitar. I'd love to hear it. Dave

I played a Santa Cruz H13 last fall. 13 frets to the body, 1 3/4"nut width similar to a Martin OM 42. What a great guitar.
