Anything is possible, but why erase perfection? there are still plenty of natural one's floating around. I only know of a few black 1537's... |

I asked John Budny about taking the Sunburst on my 1659 back to Natural and he said that the planing to remove color would leave the top too structurally unstable.
He reccomended leaving it -1 or taking it to another solid color. I chose black and replace the carved walnut bridge with an ebony one. That makes it match my 1619 of the same age that I got from tlc.
So to answer your question, ask the factory, but I suspect the answer will be a "no way" |
