Norse(good for the seller anyway!)man1 ...oh and I almost forgot "...there are a few small dings in the finish of the face only, but it only adds to the natural beauty of a vintage guitar." lol! I think we should all ship our guitars like around the block, and allow those UPS guys to help bring out some of the "natural beauty" of our "vintage" guitars! Beauty Marks! What a Goof!

Norse(hey Jason...sounds cool about the neck seperater do-dad...I have an old 12 string Yamaha I bought when I was like 16 or something...action is a mere 2inches at the 12th fret...maybe I should send that one as well...something to laugh at if nothing else!)man1

Y'nevah know, though- he could get some wealthy & desperate afficionado, in Lower Slobovia, to give him the BIN. Heck, the $200.00 shipping would be a drop-in-the-bucket! And, Jason, did you construct your neck jig, or get it ready-made? I had to fabricate my own, to accomodate the bowl curvature. And, being an "O", I used a heat gun to loosen the adhesive, instead of steam.

Joined: August 2006 Posts: 2804 Location: ranson, wva | i got the jig from stewmac. it presses the neck out of the dovetail after you inject steam into the joint,i had a steam injector allready but had to make a new back support for the jig to acomomadate the bowl...works pretty damn good too...i made neck untwister similer to your but mine uses 2 high torque servos to do the untwisting...jason

And, back to the matter-at-hand, the shipping is a bit stiff, also. So, total outlay, if the auction closed this-second, is in the neighborhood of $250.00, about what I would pay for the critter, anyway.
