Well I spelled it correctly, I had to spell check it though.

But..to the point! I have recieved a beautiful Custom Legend 1158 (with electronics), just yesterday, and have completed adoption papers for a Lovely Red Viper this evening! I can now sit back for a long while and watch the crazy searching and hunting and GAS exchanges.

I must say that I greatly appreciate all of the responses to my questions. I know that I have learned more about Ovation Guitars than I thought was possible, yet I also realize that there is so much more to learn.

Ya'll have made me into an Ovation Fanatic. I have sold two of the other brands and replaced them with O's. The only Non O left is my first guitar (an Epiphone Bicentinnel Model) and I will still display and play it proudly beside my four Ovations.

Although my new collection is small in comparison to others, I feel proud to be a card carrying member of the Ovation Family.

Sorry to carry on, but I have only one last request (for now)! Can someone teach me HOW TO PLAY all of these damn guitars???!!! :D ;) :D :o

By the way, and even more importantly...Lanaki (Randy) and I are trying (going to ) get together On June the 9th at the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC, for some meeting, greeting, Family Fun and strumming (Randy only, I will provide the O's). This is an open invitation to all that would like to join us!! Please reply to this message or PM me if you would like to come!! The details are still in the works, so I can't provide alot more info at this point, but will shortly, once it can be determined the amount of people that we can expect.

Neither of us can make the Factory Tour this year, so we thought that this would be a small way of getting to meet some of the Family! Randy will be traveling quite the distance for a family function!

Look forward to hearing from you all, and hopefully getting to meet some of you and your families, face to face!

Kurt and Miles, I can't thank the both of you enough for allowing me to keep the girls in the Family!

Regards...Jim

Please refer the posts on the general board, Randy and I had the same thoughts at the same time, (scary isn't it!)

Time and date are a go, we will follow with the place and details!

Just checking my schedule and looks like that would fit in with my travel plans; I'm in Lake Junealuska from the 10th to the 13th so this would be on my way one day earlier. Trying to co-ordinate with my wife and her schedule but put us down tenitively and keep us informed of the specifics; We'd love to meet everyone!

MM,

This is great news, we hope that this just keeps growing. Please refer to Lanaki's post "Southern-Style OFC Jamboree? " in the general section for updates as they become available.

Look forward to seeing you there!

That's a great place cwk2. I used to go there, every other year with my father. The staff and accomodations were top notch. I have alot of fond memories about the GP Inn. Some of which I can't communicate here.

We (Randy) are still searching, Randy lived in Asheville for 17 years and still has contacts. I know that he will find a great place.
