FOR SALE: ORIGINAL ADAMAS I 1587 DEEP BOWL CUTAWAY GUITAR

o Adamas I cutaway model 1587-5
o Deep bowl black with gold sparkle
o Black top with Adamas I epaulets and gold sparkle
o Carved walnut bridge
o Carved walnut adamas headstock
o Walnut neck and fretboard w/ adamas inlays
o Adamas suspension ring top mounting
o Gold Schaller tuners
o 1-11/16 nut width
o OPTIMA pre-amp with XLR

This is an amazing tone cannon. My favorite Adamas I guitar. This black 1587 is a deep bowl cutaway, not very common. Sound is loud, crips and clear. The setup and action is superb. Optima preamp and XLR output for live or studio work.

Condition is immaculate. I would call it NEW. There is not detectable fret wear, no fingerboard wear or dirt. NO nicks, dings, scuffs, etc. Nothing. It's a perfect guitar.

$2400. Delivered to your door FedEx in the 48 States.

Email or PM me if interested or if you have questions.

Dave

It seems like all your guitars are perfect, like new. Don't you ever play them?

This is a beautiful guitar at a great price. It will go quickly.....

This would be an excellant spot for a "Dick Balch" Car commercial! Maybe a "Go see Cal!" Worthington would fit.

I can't watch. There's going to be a lot of happy new O-wners when Dave is done.

Congrats to both buyer and seller. If I had it, it would have been gone long ago.

Actually, the buyer fell in love with that guitar the first time he looked at it on Dave's web site. I never thought I'd ever have a chance to own a guitar like that, but I guess dreams do come true.

Well She arrived today, and it is nothing less than spectacular. I've been playing it all afternoon and into the evening. Thanks again Dave.

I actually got tired of waiting for the Fedex truck to arrive, so I drove around until I found the truck, I then hijacked it until he gave me the guitar.

This was one of the most difficult ever to let go. But I'm glad it stayed in the OFC. Enjoy it Vince.

Now that it's gone, I can tell you the whole truth. I could not come out and say all this previously because it would have sounded like a sales pitch. BUT ... for reasons I can not explain, this particular guitar has IT. Not this model, but this specific instrument. Can't explain why, but the sound just jumps out of this thing in a way unlike any other Adamas I that I've played. To MY ears, you would be very hard pressed in a blindfold test to say that the 47RI/OFC sound better than this one. Maybe a little in the high end, I don't know. It's almost spooky to heard this one because as good a reputation as Adamas I has, this one goes off the chart.

I regret selling it already, but I had to clear room and cash for other purchases (that probably won't sound as good, but that's life). Good luck with it Vince and don't forget about that "lifetime return policy".

I promise to take good care of her. I thought my 1581 played great (and it DOES), but this thing is smooth as butter. Chording (including bar chords) is so unbelievably easy on it. It kinda' reminds me of that Red Violin movie, where the thing comes alive when you play it. Minus the curse part though (:
