It's a boomer, and the ZillaFest attendees played it & liked it. This would make a good get for someone here. | ||

Joined: November 2006 Posts: 3969 | Looks like it might be a mid-depth bowl. Plus the neck is all black (can't see the skunk stripe), unlike the burst neck on mine. Still, a great price right now. | ||

Joined: January 2005 Posts: 4903 Location: Phoenix AZ | The label indicates a non-production guitar. The s/n is actually the date it was made ie June 16, 1981. My guess is that the model number actually says 5S, not SS. Maybe 5S means a black edged sunburst ??? Just a guess. Dave | ||
