I need to sell a Custom Legend 1659 12 string on Ebay and I can't find much info on it, except it's a 1982 model. I did find a site that said it was the first in the Collector Series. It is in excellent condition with orig. case and manual. I would much appreciate any spec. info and a reasonable price to ask for it. Thanks

1659-- Custom Legend 1982-1984 USA Steel String 12 DEEP BOWL Center Hole PegHead A/E Stereo Output
MSRP was around $1200.

That being said, any guitar is worth what people will pay for it at That Moment! Also, you will likely need a buyer who understand the difference between this and other Ovations.

This is a good start. Pictures will help.

Good luck. Maybe you will get someone like me on eBarf... I alway over-pay

That wasn't in the Collector Series. You are mixing up a couple models.

1982 WAS the first year of the Collector Editions, but this guitar wasn't it for that year, as Mark said.
