You'd need to be able to see if there's a truss rod cover or not. The LX would be a lighter guitar, and the neck profile would be different. John <>{

I love almost everything about mine — neck, midbowl, action, sound, OP30. And though I can't say I'm really crazy about the 'Terminator' look, I'm at least getting used to it. And I never have to worry about 'pick scuffing'.

I do seem to remember seeing one of the original flames that wasn't LX, but it might have been at the factory (and anything is possible there).

I would strongly suspect it is fan bracing, non LX. My daughter's 1778T Red Flame is the Op30 with the truss rod cover, just like the one in the auction. It definitely has non-LX bracing. The newer version had the OpPro and unknown bracing. IMO, if the guitar is indeed in "rarely played" condition, it is a very nice guitar for $600. Whether there are better prices out there I dunno. But I don't think you'd be disappointed with the guitar unless the nut width is a deal breaker.
