So I hope you're happy — I just bought my third one (to go with an EliteT and '71 1111-4). Including the '68 Villager 12-string and an old Fender Strat, I believe that makes five altogether. Oh, I almost forgot the cheapie Yamaha bass. This purchase was of course with money I should have spent on Holiday gifts. Then again, $350 for a skinny-bowl Legend is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. I can even call it my beater and leave it in the boat. So now that I have a confirmed diagnosis, is there any cure for 'Ovamonia'? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=140187264725&Cat...

She criticized my obsession with Ovation, so I bought an Adamas. I suggested we get a 30th anniversary model to commemorate our anniversary, then after she agreed she found out there were several 30th anniversary models. I just try to please. The only way out is up.

Unfortunately, it is otherwise in very pretty condition and I have always been a sucker for the tobacco burst finish. Long story short, paternal instincts have kicked in and it will soon be mothership-bound. Am certain my 'bargain' Legend will top out and about what I might have paid for a new one. But I have heard so many good things about 'Mom that I have to experience that part of the Ovation mystique for myself. I'll take before and after pics and let you see them when it gets back.

It sat around here for awhile as I debated what to do with it. After all of the raves about what they can do with a refurb, what other choice did I have? I can't wait to get it back now.
