Glad you like the guitar, it was one of Ovations best and used to command good resale value but sadly not anymore. Ebay is a buyers market the serious players have their guitars and the rest have ten thousand imports to choose from every week. Sadly it looks as though this is going to be the way of it for a while to come. I am surprised the color is not more popular the black next to the MOP and Abalone looks stunning and that green is such a nice shade and it shows off the spruce beautifully. you don't get these features together on a natural nor a solid black finish. Who ever first called this Caddilac Green has never seen one in person they are beautiful and I have recieved some nice remarks from those who have heard and seen it up close. In fact the normal response when the case is opened is WOW! Thats the truth. Now we have had a Charlie Kaman Slothead Adamas up for sale and no takers. Now that is a shame...not my little sale. Thanks for the look though, it made it to $660 last time, but might not even make it that far this time. Hang on your guitars gentlemen and ladies this is not the time to sell. Apparently you can't buy a bid for a high end Ovation. But the celebrities are moving all the time. Randy

I know I didn't when I first started on my O trek. I bought a celeb, which was a very nice guitar, thinking I finally got an Ovation after selling my Applause, only to find out later that I was in the same ballpark. So, the imports flood the market with low prices, and it lowers the price of the "real" Ovations. (I can buy this Ovation for 500.00 new, why would I buy a used one for 800.00?) I agree, that green with all the bling is nicer than the black. At least you can see the grain in the wood.

IIRC, Cadillac Green was a putrid-looking paint, not a tint-stain (or whatever it is) as this CL is finished with. These are the types of Ovations I like to see. It is (likely) more rare than a CL with the factory-colored burst on it and is a deep-bowl, which I like. The next Ovation/Adamas I am able to buy will be a deep-bowl. I do wish I had the funds to afford this one. I have always liked the CL--the way they play, sound, and look. I am sorry to see that you've had to lower your reserve in hopes of selling this Randy. Best of luck with this.

To me this is one of the best looking (painted) guitars Ovation ever offered. To bad this one shows up now when I am in the house cleaning process. Best luck with the sale, Kurt EDIT: Anyway, Randy, do you have more pictures?

I am in the market for a new dvd corder soon (I have seen some around $300 that are real nice) so this might help in the decent photo department. Thanks for the comments guy's I hate to sell this but I have too many Acoustic guitars and this is the one. I am selling this under value but since I can't sit on this for ever and wait to see the fair value out of this I am at the will of those who will buy it and it is a buyers market now.
