Location: Minden, Nebraska | Nice! When was that one made? There were some really crappy Epi hollowbodies made in Japan in the early 80s. The necks were bolt-on. Yours is definitely distinct from the 90s and later MIK Sheraton reissues. |

I decided to do some looking into it and I think it was made between '86 and '89 at the Samick factory in Korea. According to this source I found thru Google they are the only ones with the "by Gibson" on the headstock. Don't know if that is accurate or not. But it looks like a solid piece. John |

Location: Minden, Nebraska | More recent ones were made at the same factory, but marketed as Sheraton II, without the 'by Gibson' on the headstock. That's at least one thing that sets them apart. |
