This seller is even more optimistic than the Craig's List seller. The Angel Step Walnut finish is nice on the eyes, and comparatively rare, but it's tough to justify that price. One of our members was recently trying to sell one for a lot less, but I don't know if it sold.

But anything can, and does, happen on eBay. A weak dollar makes American guitars appealing to buyers in countries where the devaluation makes them a relative bargain depending on exchange rates.

I agree. It's appearance is stunning, and I'm sure it's great plugged in. I just have a tough time going to that level for a shallow bowl that won't be quite as nice accoustically as others.

I owned a 12 string version.

Looked great and sounded terrific plugged in but was definitely thin sounding acoustically.
