TAKAMINE NASHVILLE SERIES NEX CUTAWAY TNV-460SC This is one of the nicest guitars that I own, but the fact is that it's very redundent to a few others in the house and gets virtually no play. I've got the TNV-760SC which is the identical guitar in a smidge-smaller OM size and I've got the TF-430 non-cutaway NEX. Too many similar guitars. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The NEX cutaway size is THE BOMB. A perfect compromise in size between a big dreadnaught and a smaller OM. This guitar is absolutely SPOTLESS. I challenge anyone to find a mark on it. No fretwear or other signs that it's even been in human hands. It's THAT perfect. Of course it includes the deluxe hardshell case. THIS IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE REGULAR PRODUCTION GUITAR THAT TAKAMINE MAKES !!! And worth every penny of it ... List price is $3499.00. I've seen them at online dealers for $2300-2400. plus shipping. I bought this guitar new as a Factory Second or Overstock model and it is marked USED on the back of the headstock. Can not find a single spec, smudge or other indication that anything on this guitar is less than perfect. The usual trick with the "USED" guitar is that they give you a cheaper pre-amp. But not so here - This baby has the real deal, the CTP-1 COOL TUBE pre-amp !!! SPECS: o NEX Cutaway Body, gloss finished o Solid Bearclaw Spruce Top o Solid East Indian Rosewood Back & Sides o Mahogany neck with Ivoroid binding o Rosewood faced headstock o 1-3/4 inch nutwidth with Bone nut o Ebony fretboard with Abalone inlays o Abalone inlaid rosette o Abalone inlaid body binding o Gloss finished neck and headstock o Deluxe Gotoh tuners o Tortoise color pickguard o Palenthetic undersaddle pickup o CTP-1 COOL TUBE preamp o Deluxe hardshell case Here's the deal ... $1375. INCL. FREE FEDEX SHIPPING in the 48 US States. PAYPAL ONLY. Email or PM me if interested. Dave

I would jump on that in a second and I'm sure someone will. That is an outstanding guitar at an insane price. Whoever brings it home is going to be extremely happy they did I'm sure.

A lot of difference in price between the Nashville and the Martin yet the Nashville series compares very favorably. At the most, like two great Irish tenors in a duet. The cool tube is a great pre-amp, complete with tuner. This may be seen as blasphemy but if you have to sell an O to buy Dave's, do it.

I could just as easily sell the 760, but I paid more for it hence would have to sell it for more. And tomorrow being tax day and all I figured I better offer up the low ball one.

It's like having the rich kid in your neighborhood that HAS the real leather basketball or the REAL cool sled and letting him play with you... Besides, being sane/certified or not is not one of the subjects in Alpep's manifests! Thankfully. Dave that is a sweet instrument and an insane deal. If I had to choose between having more talent or more money right now I'd have to with the money.
