just did a case count, and with my current sales on-going, in his infinite young wisdom, it looks like my son has "borrowed" one of my deep/mid bowl cases, prior to his..."moving out, and moving on" and I am not able to get him on the cell, read(ignoring) my calls... unfortunately, it was the 9158 that goes with the Q and was in pretty minty condition.

at least junior was kind enough to leave the contents of the accessory box, on the floor of the closet  so I do still have all of the brochures, warranty cards, case candy, and amazingly the key... but the allen wrench is still apparently in it's place next to the flap in the case..

so if anyone has a spare deep/mid case, even a vintage one, that is in good+ or better condition with no cracks or breaks or excessive wear or damage, for a fair and preferably low price, please let me know...

I have offered the buyer the option of either sending me a case to ship the guitar back in... and crediting $100 against the sale... or to purchase another to replace the one gone missing...

don't want to have to spend $100 or so for another 9158, but if I have to I have to..

the auction has been edited to reflect that the guitar will come in an Ovation case that fits..

Thanks David, yes, I am aware that it's there, and will be my last resort if it comes to that...

I'm already taking a beating on this one, and yes it is my choice to do so to raise the $$$, so am not really trying to make any profit on these gits... and all are being sold at a loss, in some cases a large one, my opening bids have all been less than what I had in them, but that is my fair price to my OFC brethren here.... which is the opening bids...and some have gotten them lower than that...

the only one that I could possibly make a profit on at this time is the custom classical... when I got it with the loose neck, it was not even a certainty that it could be repaired, and had it been a k-bar, instead of a truss rod neck, it most probably couldn't have been according to John.

I got lucky, the guitar is as good as new..probably better, and I don't feel that my asking price to you guys at the opening bid is unfair for a 1 off in it's condition and with it's provenance, and fully believe it to be worth the BIN.... but just my opinion tho..

if it comes down to it, I will swallow deeply, and purchase the 9158 from Miles.

Thanks,

Glenn

Thanks, I was able to get the nice 9158 off the bay with the white logo in the lid padding, looks to be pretty good, and I thought a fair price..

thanks to those if any, that laid back and let me get it..

It's to ship the Q in.

Shoot Glenn,

If I'd known that was you, I wouldn't have bid at the last minute. Sorry. Big time.

no biggie man... we can't wave flags over here about anything unless we post our transaction counts..

and those with some of us.... change a lot over a few days time.

I got it for less than my max bid... though I did have to start pumpin it up... I'm ok with the price paid..

I'm pretty sure the Q and that case are going to guigite.. in Vannes he's just returning from Holiday, and is in recovery mode.. or not back yet.

It's in good enough shape by the pics to be worthy of the guitar.

the one Miles had was gone... had to get something, and a brown vintage wasn't gonna cut it selling it to a member here, at least not for me.
