I'm now looking for a pickguard for a Thunderhead. Easy to come by? or anything else acceptable. I'd prefer an original but.....

Location: Scotland | They crop up very occasionally on ebay, but I haven't seen one on there for ages. If you can't find one I can send you a cardboard template from mine. You can then get some pickguard material and make one yourself. I can point you in the right direction to get the material. |

Location: Scotland | Not yet. I got a single handmade sample in rosewood (No Walnut available, which is why I'm still out too) which looked and felt good but the proportions weren't quite right. That's what comes of working from pics rather than an engineering drawing. Regardless of that, the price was going to be stupid expensive. So, still working on it. If I get anywhere you guys will be the first to know.
I'll have new stock of Walnut, Ivoroid and Tortoise in both sizes in the next week or so. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I was thinking about those tortoise tuner buttons the other day, as I was checking out pics of the 2006 FKOA Guitar that has the tortoise binding. That would shure be a sweet combination. |
