| Finally got my totally refurbished Pacemaker back from the mothership and it ROCKS. I picked up another to tide me over and I don't need 2, so I'm letting this go for what I paid, I got a deal at $500,you pay the shipping from Canada, probably $50.
I posted it on KIJIJI , heres the link http://london.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-musical-instruments-Ovation-...
I'll send pics on request or try to add some to my member acount here. |

| One of the best 12-string guitars ever made (not just Ovation, among the best of any 12-string guitar). Mine's not going anywhere. Anybody considering a 12-er should give this serious thought. Best of luck with the sale. |

| my restored 69 shiny bowl 1115-4 with FD14 preamp is the cat's ass.... these are great 12s, and short of an Adamas TT 12, are probably the best you'll ever play..
I don't think anyone makes a better 12 string than Ovation, in any price range.
Good luck with your sale. it's worth every penny and looks great!

I paid just about the same as murph's price and consider that a great deal; most decibels per buck for a 12er! |

| Thanks everyone for all the testimonials. I think the thing that makes this guitar stand out is the shorter 12 fret to the body neck. A shorter neck gives a very full and "Punchy " sound. Very rythmic and percussive when I strum with the heel of my hand on the soundboard its like a kick drum sound.
I went to great lengths to find another one after my old Pacemaker was put to pasture, and I ended up with 2, while one was sent to mothership for a refubish, I needed one to gig with. Coincidentally this came up on KIJIJI, a popular buy sell site here in Canada, and I snapped it up.
Virtually new with only 1 tiny chip on the top of the headstock, otherwise no finish cracks and just slight normal pick wear on the soundboard.
If it doesn't sell right away, I may just have to keep it. Revised price on this forum, $450 and we split shipping cost. Murph |
