Sorry everybody: I've been a bit busy,(right Stephen?) OK, Randy is close: mine came modified but a hammer and a small chisel will push the foam back enough to fit the end of the headstock in...the plush can be pulled back first and then replaced...works well: the guitar is a killer and worth the effort (original cases are very hard to come by). Even if you just have a gig bag, this is a great guitar!

The story is the electronics did not work on this guitar when it was originally shipped, and it was put into storage and forgotten about." I question this version of the story... If they sent you a broken guitar... why didn't you send it back? If they sent you a new guitar that takes a custom case... Where is the case? (you didn't accidentally sell it with something else, did you?) [Wow Man, those were confusing times back then. If you weren't there you wouldn't understand, man...)
