I'm currently not an Ovation owner but hope to become one soon. I've played many Ovation's/Adamas in the past but never was a proud owner. I've decided that I'd like to trade my 1998 Taylor 314CE. It's in VERY good condition with almost no fretwear, and sounds wonderful. The 90's by most are considered to be Taylor's "Golden Years". This guitar has the pre NT neck that many look for. If I can't work out a trade of some sort here I'll probably go to the dreded ebay. I'm looking for an Adamas 1597 or 2080, but am open for other Adamas models. If anyone has a 2080 I'd be willing to trade the Taylor plus $300. I'll be opening a photobucket page to post pics but in the meantime if anyone wants some pics send me a PM and I'll get them to you asap. Thanks and I look forward to becoming an officail member of this forum.

The Taylor and $300-350 would be for a used Adamas 2080 which are going for around $1500, more like even trade for a used 1597. I bought a brand new guitar and it has more fretwear in 10 months than the Taylor has and it's 10 years old. I may just keep it and save up for another guitar if the warden (wife) will allow me to :D
